My third visit to the DFS Singapore Cruise Centre was to express my gratitude and bid farewell.
DFS has decided not to renew its contract with the Cruise Centre to run the duty-free shops. Lagardere will take over at the end of June.
Together with the staff at DFS, we built some good business and demand for the wines from Delaire Graff, Cederberg, Avondale, Ernie Els and 88 Vineyards – another great portfolio from South Africa.
Now we start the negotiations all over again and try to establish our portfolio with the Lagardere buying team. The good news is that some of the talented and friendly staff will stay, so we hope to get some great wines for them to sell.
