It was great to be back in Bangkok with Lukas Coates from Jaidee Duty Free, our importer for 88 Vineyards and 29 Made For Meat wines.
Lukas picked me up at the airport at 5am, and we first drove to the Thai-Cambodia border 250km away to visit his border duty-free shop. The next few days were spent visiting specialised liquor stores where they are just starting to sell 88 Vineyards and 29 Made for Meat across Bangkok’s top retail districts.
And for the unusual – I was introduced to Amie and her partner from Pura Vida Beach Club, an indoor venue for beach tennis and volleyball where the
players love to drink 88 Vineyards Merlot Medium Sweet!
